Building Fund

Our clubhouse is nearly 50 years old. During the past several years we have been maintaining and improving our clubhouse and grounds. The most noticeable improvements are the siding and trim replacement on the clubhouse and the roof over the shooting stations in the outdoor range. However, we have also refinished the hardwood floor in the clubhouse, reconditioned the men’s room and ladies’ room, and added insulation in the attic space, and some improvements to our kitchen. We also  replaced the furnace with a modern efficient unit.

We are now in the process of replacing the windows with efficient insulated units and insulating the walls. In the future we plan to increase the size of the front porch, make the building handicapped accessible, and improve our parking lot and ranges. These improvements will allow us to have more events and be more accessible to the public.

Starting with the 2008 membership year primary members will be required to contribute an additional $10 per year to the building fund for each of the next three years. This is a required fee for individual adult members. A primary member is the first name on you membership application. A single $10 fee will be required for a family membership and no building fund fee is required for junior members. After three years this fee will be dropped.

Membership Renewal for 2009

This newsletter includes a copy of the membership application for the 2009 membership year.

Membership in Phoenicia Fish and Game runs from January 1 to December 31 each year.

Your 2008 membership expired on December 31 regardless of when you joined or when you paid your dues for the year.

The membership application has changed from previous years and all older versions of the application are n longer valid.

Please send in your renewal with your dues and a complete application for 2009. We would like to use eMail and our website to distribute future newsletters and membership renewals. If you have an eMail account please include it on your application and write legibly so we can use it. Mailing hardcopy is very expensive and we can put that money to better use.

Web Site

Our plan is to place future newsletters and membership renewals along with other communications on the website and then notify members by eMail to look at the website for that information rather than mail out hardcopy. Members who do not use eMail or have access to the website will still receive hardcopy in the mail.
